In this workshop I'd like to draw attention to what could be the value creation of dance in present times. What will be at stake is a kinetics that lacks perspective and yet, equivalent to the incorporation of a knowing which would not imply a desired end, but rather the opportunity to question, transform (or even forget) the purpose or end to which it was innitially directed at. What are the performative consequences of a dance withdrawn from a structure of belonging or goal? How can we think of a motion-dynamic that is only necessary to itself, but useless to any constitution of value? What kind of value systems could be enabled if dance is approached from its being always ephemeral, non-significant and minor as a condition of potentiality? Could this dancing conditions be an element of intervention upon the dancer herself?
What we need is not to choreograph more, but to continue dancing from a different plane of perception.
