Hessische Theaterakademie

The HESSISCHE THEATERAKADEMIE is a student alliance between Hessian colleges and universities which train for theatre professions and the Hessian town and state theatres.

The following training institutions are involved:

• Die Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst, Frankfurt am Main with its courses in Music Theatre, Acting, Theatre Direction, Contemporary and Classical Dance with postgraduate study courses; Theatre and Cultural Management, Theatre, Music and Dance Critic
• Die Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main with its course Theatre Studies and the postgraduate course Dramaturgy
• Die Justus Liebig Universität Gießen with the Institute of Applied Theatre Studies
• Die Hochschule für Gestaltung, Offenbach am Main with its main focus on the Stage
